I have been in veterinary practice for 35 years and founded Fox Hollow in November 1996. Growing up in Ireland, I read and lived the adventures of legendary veterinarian/author James Herriot. Like Herriot, I have cared for all creatures from cats to cows. My special style of veterinary care is shown through compassion and the ability to diagnose with symptoms alone. Once a diagnosis is made, the pet's owner is offered the best option of treatment to suit their individual needs and financial situation. I hold a bachelor's degree from Dublin's Trinity College and am a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. I currently live in Littleton with my wife, our two cats, and our Golden Retriever, Winston.

I am the second oldest of Dr. Tony's four boys and I grew up in Littleton, Colorado. My love of animals, biology, and interacting with wonderful pet owners ultimately lead me to my dream career - Veterinary medicine.

When I'm not hanging out with my wonderful wife and daughter I am usually mountain biking, camping or kayaking in beautiful Colorado.

My passions and interests in Veterinary medicine have matured over the years.  And I am now most excited about the relationships Fox Hollow has fostered.  My favorite part of being a Veterinarian is simply going into work and interacting with my wonderful clients and patients.  Additionally, as co-owner, I am finding an intense interest in management.  There is no bigger smile on my face than when I see my staff happy doing what they love.  I consider our clients, patients and staff all family.

As a proud co-owner of Fox Hollow Animal Hospital alongside my father and brother, I've earned the nickname 'the singing veterinarian,' a moniker that celebrates my passion for both veterinary medicine and music. My approach to animal care and patient engagement not only captured the internet's attention but also paved the way for 'Hanging with the Hendersons,' our TV show. This was made possible thanks to our office manager Darcy, affectionately known as our informal fifth Henderson sibling, capturing moments playing guitar to patient. The show showcases our family’s professional and creative journeys both inside and outside the practice. I deeply value time with my wife, an occupational therapist, our twin boys, and our Vizsla mix, Charlie, as we collectively seek a life enriched with care, creativity, and adventure.

Just like the Hendersons, I’m also one of four boys! I grew up on the east coast in New Jersey, but have lived all over the country since then. I received my undergraduate degree in cognitive studies from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee and graduated from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. I currently live in Littleton with my wife and fellow Veterinarian Mandy, our two sons, as well as our two cats Ripley and Sam. When I’m not at work, I enjoy hiking, camping, traveling, and playing video games. My interests include internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, and oncology. I have worked in small animal general practice in the Denver Metro area for 2 years prior to moving to Fox Hollow Animal Hospital and I’m excited to be a part of this team!

I grew up near the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, where being the child of two veterinarian parents introduced me to this fulfilling career from a young age. My educational journey took me from the University of Virginia, where I completed my undergraduate degree, to Cornell University for my DVM. Although my roots are in the East, my heart has always been drawn to the vast landscapes and outdoor adventures of the western U.S. Joining the Fox Hollow team in July 2021 has been a highlight of my career, allowing me to deeply connect with this community and practice veterinary medicine with a team that shares my values and dedication. My strongest interests now lie in surgery, a field where I greatly enjoy learning new skills and the camaraderie of working as part of a medical team on behalf of our patients.

Outside of work, I enjoy numerous activities in the mountains as well as triathlon. Honestly, juggling all of my mountain hobbies has turned budgeting into its own extreme sport here in Colorado!

I’m a Colorado local and grew up just down the street in Highlands Ranch. I left Colorado for my undergraduate degree in Movement Science at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) but returned home to obtain my DVM at Colorado State University. After a brief stint in California practicing equine medicine, I decided I couldn’t stay away from my mountains and returned home, at which time I joined the Fox Hollow team. Just as much as I am passionate about my four-legged patients, I am passionate about the people who love and care for them, and I look forward to building relationships with Fox Hollow’s amazing clientele. My interests in the veterinary field include internal medicine, end-of-life care, and the intersections of Western and Eastern medicine - I hope to soon obtain my small animal acupuncture certification to match my one in horses! When not at work, you can find me training for the show ring with my ex-racehorse, Aspen, exploring Colorado’s outdoors by foot, ski and lounge chair, or spending time with my partner, Anthony, our German Shepherd mix, Lenny, and our crazy kittens, Huey and Hazel.

I’ve been caring for pets for over 15 years and love making both animals and their people feel at ease. I grew up on the sunny beaches of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. After more than a decade running my own veterinary hospital in Florida, my family and I traded sand for snow, moving to Colorado for its amazing mountain lifestyle. While I’m trained in advanced surgical procedures, I equally enjoy my time with clients—helping their pets stay healthy, answering questions, and sharing plenty of smiles.
Grounded in my Christian faith, I’m passionate about serving others—whether it’s patients, pet owners, or the broader community. My wife and I are raising three wonderful children, along with two dogs, two cats, and two hamsters. I’m an avid skier, mountain biker, and hiker, and I bring the same energy and dedication to my personal life as I do to my profession.
